Well, it turns out Drupal is actually more popular than I previously thought.
According to the official graph: http://drupal.org/project/usage/drupal
...there are over 300,000 sites using the current stable version of 6.x. The Alpha, version 7, which I am using, is about 1,000. That's still quite a lot I reckon.
Speaking of things Drupal, the plan is to complete the following "highly important" "missing bits" first:
That should do for the moment. And what better to spend a Thursday evening watching Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005) on TV full of ads even though I could just watch it any time I feel like it. Why is that when something is on TV, you end up watching it anyways? It's not a bad movie, but has nothing on the trilogy in four parts.
Also, in the meantime, whilst procrastinating about fixing this website and blogging, I'm getting ready for the Oz RenaultSport 2010 Nationals. Basically it's an excuse for RS drivers to catch up over a long weekend and fang around the track for a day. Go for a drive. Have dinner. That kind of thing. Should be good. 2009 was pretty good I have to say (see my previous blog, oh, a few entries back... hah) even though I did about 2000km that weekend since it was held in Winton VIC and Thredbo NSW. Lots of driving but totally worth it.
Oh yes, so back to getting ready. There's not a lot to do really. I was going to buy some proper tyres (semi-slicks) for going around the track, but I don't have a spare set of rims and I don't feel like paying for them... so there goes that idea. The tyres I have are pretty disappointing (Bridgestone RE001) so I don't think I'll be getting those again. Better off thrashing them on the track and getting something more decent I reckon... You just can't skimp on tyres, whether you are driving on the road or track. It's your only contact with the road, after all. Apart from tyres, it's just the usual check everything is bolted down and fluids are all a good level. Would consider topping up the oil, too, since that is the life-blood of the engine at 7250 rpm.
PS: Yes I am blogging again. It's a miracle! I should've done this upgrade thing years ago.
