Well it's almost that time of year. Man, Christmas isn't fun. The usual combination of boring carols and the rediculous need to boost the retail economy and the pressures therein. Why do we bother complying with such traditions?
On unrelated news, I haven't dicsovered why the microSD card in my phone is randomly pretending to corrupt photos. They appear to copy off the device fine... so what's up? I know, a cheeky format should solve such issues, right? I guess it's probably because the card came with my KA08 "mini" iphone and is most likely inherently dodgy.
Nothing else to really report at this stage, except I am considering a new project which isn't related to PCs (and isn't related to finally finishing the work on my Dalgety Column which has been going on since June... much to my disbelief, but the photos don't lie). Nothing to reveal at this stage except that it is an idea to save electricity. So for that reason alone, everyone should like it and want one. Yes. You know you do.
Had the Pyrmont Dental Health Christmas Party tonight at Kobe Jones... damn the wagyu beef was awesome! So tasty and tender.
Right, what to do with the rest of the weekend? I need to buy some clamps so I can do a better job of replacing the white key caps on my Rhodes. 73 keys minus the black ones leaves about 45 or so to do but it is very hard to get motivated. Should look nice once it's done.
Speaking of things white, I am considering putting white Gordini stripes on my car, a bit like this: http://www.carpages.co.uk/renault/renault_images/renault_clio_renaultspo... (although the colour accuracy on that photo is shameful). Am I completely mad? I don't really like attracting attention, however it is the way the car came from the factory, at least most of the time, for the LE and F1 editions (which mine isn't but I can easily forget that).
